YAY! makes games that are fun, easy, and don’t require a whole lot of skill to play, but our vision is to create games that are creative and will let you stretch your imagination!

Our games at YAY! are those based in the social context. We play games to have fun but when we play with our friends the fun is multiplied tenfold! When players play with friends, everyone has fun. We encourage building social capital within our game making our players want to play more and more.

Our focus is on the iPad platform. Why? In 2010, 15 million iPads were sold. That more than tripled to 48 million last year. At the end of Q1 this year 12 million iPads were sold and Gartner forecasts 73 million iPads to be sold by Christmas. Next year, Apple is forecasted to sell 100 million iPads. By Christmas 2013 over a quarter of a billion people will own an iPad! We concentrate on the gaming app category because it is, by far, the most popular category. The good news is that 64% of app downloaders have downloaded game apps over all others app categories. The great news is that of those players, 93% are willing to pay for games! The most likely reason is because the majority of iPad owners (47.3%) are between 25-44 years old – those with the disposable income and time to purchase and play games.

“YAY!” is a new, Colorado-based Limited Liability Company formed in April 2012, and launching to the market in Q3 this year. Our strength is in the people who make up the YAY! team and our Intent and commitment is to grow YAY! into an app company offering people a chance to play with child-like freedom. Our well-balanced team brings multiple perspectives ensuring our games can be played by anyone and everyone. YAY! is seeking seed money in order to release our first game and get millions of people to play together. It is currently in development forecasted to launch to the iTunes App Market at the end of Q3. Our next phase is to design even more fun games, and achieve profitability within the first two years of going to market.
