Spreading The Deals

College students don't have a lot of money.

Between books, tuition, living expenses and other potential fees, there isn't much left for, well...anything!

This why so many college students chow down on ramen noodles.

As a broke college student at the West Valley College in California, Payom Niazmandi knew this all too well.

He frequently ordered a breakfast burrito from the cafeteria.

It was cheap and easy, so he stuck to it.

To his surprise, a lot of the information posted could reduce his expenses when utilizing the posted deals from local and corporate businesses.

He then asked a local burger joint if he could share their posted deal with his friends.

They said yes, so he started putting together an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of all the deals.

He shared it with more and more students, eventually attracting the attention of the school's President.

The President wanted every student to benefit from these deals, inspiring Payom to build Unibui to accomplish this task.


Daily Challenges

This is extremely important because funds are tight for college students. They can't simply spend whatever, whenever!

At the same time, colleges have no way of incentivizing students to visit their local community.

They have no way of benefiting students while they are in enrolled.

The only method available -- bulletin boards -- has proven to be extremely ineffective.

This solution does not have any method of actually attracting students.

It's too old-school for its own good.
