The Truck Depot is a freight & trucking services company with a mission to ensure that every trucker has a safe, comfortable, and convenient place to park overnight.

Instead of continuing to struggle with where to park every night, truckers can pull into our secure, gated facilities and get the all-encompassing service they deserve - including repairs, cross docking, showers, and of course a good night’s sleep.

OFF LIMITS

It’s a situation that every long distance trucker deals with on the regular: they can’t find a good place to stop for their mandatory rest break, so they make do - only to wake up a few hours later to someone pounding on their truck and ushering them off.

The harsh reality is that there’s a huge crisis in the logistics/freight industry: a lack of safe overnight parking spots at truck stops across the entire US.  The over 1.5 million trucks on the roads at any given time only have 300,000 spots available to park at.

It’s only getting worse, too.  Truck stops are reducing their parking lot sizes even more - with some cities going as far as considering commercial parking taxes for truck stops.  Even Walmart lots, which have traditionally been open to truckers, are falling out of favor.

This unfortunate situation is creating a host of additional issues for everyone involved:

• Truckers must start searching for a spot earlier in the day, which hurts productivity
• Creates excessive driver stress, which leads to health problems
• Causes truckers to settle for unsavory locations, which leads to safety concerns

INSIDE THE TRUCK DEPOT

We currently have one fully operational facility in Troutdale, Oregon, with plans to open up a handful more before the end of 2019.  All future facilities will be in close proximity to urban business hubs across the nation to allow for optimal convenience.

Each Truck Depot utilizes HubSpot CRM software to provide digital services to our customers, including free secured WiFi access and the convenient purchase & delivery of truck accessories (through our WooCommerce ecommerce platform).

As for security, facilities have monitored cameras downloaded via a cloud computing environment that are backed up daily.  Entrances and exits are gated, with access codes sent to each customer’s phone and available through our website.

On-site mechanical services are also available 24 hours - so rather than spending big on a mobile service or having to drop trucks off elsewhere, truckers can get the services and repairs they need right from the comforts of our facility.

Another thing that makes us stand out compared to makeshift lots are our warehousing & cross docking services, which ultimately helps companies deliver freight more cost effectively.  Other features and benefits Truck Depots provide include:

MEET THE TEAM

The Truck Depot concept originated from the experiences of our Founder, who owned a growing trucking company at the time.  After finding it increasingly difficult to legally park his trucks - and after paying multiple towing fees - he got fed up and decided to act.

What started with an initial idea and search for a location has since evolved into a viable business concept.  Let’s learn a little more about the team behind it:

Founder/CEO/President
Started his own trucking company at just 20 years of age and grew it to a successful fleet of trucks in just a few years.  Passionate entrepreneur and community leader with a true talent for business development.

ANDREI VLAD
Corporate VP/Operations
A young man with an uncommon energy to succeed, Andrei focused his energies in his family’s business at just 15 before starting his own business.  Tasked with steering the day-to-day operations for the company.

RICHARD GREER
VP Marketing/Development/IT
Skilled & accomplished marketing professional with 22+ years of experience, including time in GE Japan’s Turnaround Department.  Top skills include digital marketing, advertising, and big data analytics.
