I am starting an Independent Record Label in Ohio, called The Spark Music, that focuses on the development of young artists and supporting them on their creative journey. Art is such a powerful and transformative gift, calling to the world with beauty instead of the steady stream of violence, war, bigotry, and fear that is so often the norm in our society. Each artist will be given the opportunity to hone their craft in a safe and challenging environment that focuses on depth and passion over and above any trend or fashion. It is our goal to foster a community of artists who are willing to take chances and create music of lasting value with integrity.  

We will be producing, manufacturing, and marketing the music of our artists primarily through online distribution and social media. Our company will also be involved in the booking of live performances for each of our artists.

An album of material has already been successfully funded prior to creation of The Spark Music. We will follow this developmental model for all future releases. Additionally, we own and operate our own independent studio which will significantly reduce overall costs and allow us to invest in more artists as the company expands.

Our main purpose is giving the young artist the creative freedom to completely and honestly follow their artistic vision without the unrealistic pressure of a large organization that is focused soley on monetary gain. We believe passion produces success and a sustainable business model, not trends or observance of the fashion of 'the moment'. We support our artists at all stages of their development and truly believe that art, when it is honest and a direct reflection of the artist's heart, can effectively change the world.
