The FIT Potato Run is designed to promote running and healthy living for families.  Its goal is to show kids that running is fun and to excite families to choose a healthy lifestyle together.   The FIT Potato wants to stop childhood obesity!  To provide a family fun filled day that will include music, food, inflatables, games and fitness activities.  It will include a Kid's 100m Dash and Mascot race/ danceoff.

Join our sponsors and race registrants to help make this event possible.  Sponsoring the FIT Potato Run offers an opportunity to support a locally created, locally run race, encourage others to engage in physical activity and support reducing obesity in kids.  We are well on our way to reaching our inaguarial year goal of 500 race participants.  

Don't just run a 5k be the founder of a 5k!  Every year runners spend thousands of dollars on race registrations.  A half marathon or marathon can easiliy cost $100 or more to run.  Tough Mudder cost $180 to partipate in.  At the end of the weekend, you wash off the dirt and sweat, throw away your bib and hang up another medal you will never wear.  What do you have to show for your registration dollars?  Nothing!  But funding the FIT Potato Run you beome a part of the race!  You become a founding member!  You have the opportunity to run our race for free for the rest of your life. We need $5000 to take our race to the next level.  We do not want to host just another 5k.  We want to create an EVENT, an experience for families to look foward to every year.
