The Buckeye Restaurant & Suites, LLC was chartered September 19, 2018. The business is located in a recently restored historic mansion in Clyde, Ohio. We are staged to transition this location into a family-style restaurant, coffee shop, gift shop, and hotel. Clyde City Council approved rezoning the property, “C-1 / commercial” on November 20, 2018. 

The Buckeye Restaurant & Suites will offer homestyle meals, a coffee shop, a gift shop featuring local art and handcrafted gifts, and three upper-level guest suites providing visitors with a comfortable space to rest and reset.

Doug Boyer began this quest of opening a restaurant over 40 years ago. His passion for service, understanding of hospitality, and vision for growing this company are the first ingredients needed to produce results.
