We are makers of environmentally friendly lead free fishing baits and lures. As more and more states ban the use of lead fishing tackle the demand will only continue to increase. We need to expand our current line of products we offer not only into lead free products but into soft plastics which will allow us to expand into a larger market.

We have begun to make sales in massachusettes and based off of the feedback we have recieved our website sales will dramatically incresase once the lakes and ponds of New England have thawed out. We need the help of the investors on fundable so we expand our reaches further into the outdoor market by expanding our product line.

Our goal to get off the ground we need to raise atleast $4000 but the more we raise the more products we can produce.

Soft Plastics to be Produced: Shad swim baits, lizards, craws, finess worms, stick worms, frogs, creature baits, jerk baits, tube baits, drop shot, and spider grub molds. In many sizes, shapes, and colors.

Lead fishing bait and tackle is destructive to the environment and its native inhabitants. Ingestion of lead fishing gear is the single largest cause of mortality for adult loons in New England. Veterinarians at Tufts University - School of Veterinary Medicine examined over 483 dead adult loons from fresh waters and determined that approximately 44% of these birds died as the result of lead poisoning from the ingestion of lead fishing gear. Their ongoing research has documented that ingestion of lead sinkers (including split shot) accounted for approximately 79% of the dead adult loons from fresh water. Just a single lead sinker can poison a loon. A bird with lead poisoning will have physical and behavioral changes including loss of balance, gasping, tremors and impaired ability to fly. The weakened bird is more vulnerable to predators and may have trouble feeding, mating, nesting, and caring for its young. It becomes emaciated and often dies within two to three weeks after eating the lead.

Massachusettes has already banned lead and other states are trying to do the same. Many fisherman are against these bans because the cost of alternative equipment. A newer alternative to lead is Bismuth. At 10 times the cost of lead it is still cheaper than the most widley used alternative, tungsten.

The money raised here will allow us to purchase more molds to expand our current product offering.

The business was started as a personal hobby and as the request from local fisherman started to come in I decided to take advantage of the opportunity. The company is family run at the moment which includes my father and a close family friend.
