Product/Service Details

We will enact a new concept called “Team Publishing”, whereby authors are given the opportunity to network with an editor on the website and work directly with them to produce and promote their work. The company assists the team by monitoring the project, formatting the EBook, and distribution to all major online companies. This concept gives the author flexibility with their work, employs a high amount of editors, and provides the flexibility of self-publishing but with the backing of a traditional company.

The Company will provide the following products and Services to its members and readers:

Membership to Site - $9.99/Month

Editing Services- $ Based on per word and service- Editors keep %85 of profits from their work

Illustrator Services - $ Based on project - Artists Keep %85 of profits from their work

Marketing Assistance/ Guidance - Included in the Book Contract - Author is required to have a production plan and a 1 year minimum marketing plan for selling.

Ebooks - Priced between $4.99 and $14.99

Personal Assistance for Readers- Free - Customers can ask Editors and Authors directly for recommendations for books

Contribution to Veterans

Social Publishing House is a firm supporter for Veterans Associations and in helping Active duty members transition into civilian life. Therefore, our first step as a company is to give back to Veterans.

For every $100 donation made, we will buy and donate a notebook to a Veteran with a story to tell. Those veterans can write their story, bring it to us, and our editors will help them peice it together. We will then sell their story through our website.

Our hope is to help the Veteran heal from their expereinces and move on into the civilian world with a little more monetary help than they would have.

How We're Different

Social Publishing House is the only company that embodies an online writers group, publishing assistance and services, and distribution of EBooks all in one.  Secondly, the company is the only publishing company to adopt the “Group Publishing” aspect, whereby authors can create a team to help publish their book under their own power, with the company as an assist in their endeavors. Additionally,  SPH will employ a more detailed rating system that will cater to readers and help them accurately pick a book they are looking for. The writer can start here and go from the beginnings of a novel and stick with the company all the way though a successful year of marketing their book.

About the Team

Brian Gilb - CEO

A former Logistics Officer for the United States Marine Corps looking to make a change in the book publishing industry 


Highly creative and adaptive leader with four years military experience leading and managing teams. Strong skills in foreign relations, logistics planning, maintenance management, and solving complex problems with simple solutions. Served as a planning officer in coordinating and creating future operations and training. Took a main role in creating concept of operations for major command and control exercises by taking charge and informing 5 different battalions of the plan of action. Gained a certification as a military foreign Advisor, capable of training and advising Afghan nationals in weapons, tactics, logistics, intelligence, and other battlefield procedures. Advised a Battalion Commander on logistics with specifics in maintenance management and lead the unit in procedures for mass casualty operations by designing and implementing a new system. Managed over 236 assets worth $11 million of utilities and motor transport equipment with up to 130 personnel for administrative and logistical aspects on a daily basis.
