Skyline Airways has been a registered LLC since March 2013.  For the past year and a half, a master's thesis was completed regarding market research on travel behaviors of Florida tourists and residents.  The information from the market study dictates the operating raidus, route structure, pricing, aircraft choice, and customer service level needed to be successful.  Afterwards, a solid business plan has been built and currently, funding strategies are taking place.

Skyline Airways has a lower overhead due to lower fuel consumption and faster airspeed for a propeller driven aircraft; the Cessna 421C.  Since Skyline is a single pilot owned and operated company, there will not be additional paid employees.  Business performance will dictate the addition of employees.  With just the owner performing operations to generate sales revenue, customer service will remain at a premium to ensure repeat customers and initiate positive word-of-mouth advertising.

Skyline Airways chooses to be located at Pompano Beach Airpark in Pompano Beach, FL.  The most important factor here is no other propeller-driven, passenger-carrying air charter company is based out of this airfield

A unique scheduling method is currently in development that will supplement traditional methods used by most air charter companies.  Mass social media use, smart phone applications, and a functional, easy-to-use website will group passengers together before payment and according to travel preferences.  With a larger group of passengers flying on the same route and still adhering to federal regulation guidelines concerning on demand service, the cost of airfare is reduced drastically when compared to one or two people essentially purchasing time on an aircraft, which is always more expensive.  Most air charters already have a small customer base that have been repeat users, and they have the financial means to continue that way of travel.  Skyline Airways plans to appeal to masses of tourists on a budget that are traveling in the same direction.  Repeat customers will only occur upon their return to Florida, whenever that may be.
