Shrike Eagle Aviation: Fast Facts
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
Our founder, Tylor Hall, is a multi-engine, instrument rated pilot. Shrike Eagle a Veteran owned business.
Tylor has been in the aviation industry for more than 28 years, supplying the general aviation industry, constructing aviation fuel systems and is knowledgeable of the needs of the aviation maintenance space.
As owners of the company, we are looking to acquire good mechanics. There is often a backlog of orders, but these companies are unable to find qualified staff. New hangars are in high demand and increased construction is greatly needed.
We are ready to develop new business by adding new, superior aviation facilities.
Growing Problem
WHO WILL HELP THE AVIATION INDUSTRY NOW?
The FAA has mandated the use of Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast avionics, also known as ADS-B, in all aircraft by January 2020 is not at 100%. The FBO/MRO industry has fallen behind in servicing these aircraft to meet FAA-mandated upgrades, as well as required inspections and maintenance.
Finally, The FAA issued an Airworthiness Directive, (AD) on Feb 21, 2020, making the inspection mandatory repairs of over 4,500 Cessna 210s and 177s. The required inspections are mandated because of suspected corrosion in the wing structure. These aircraft are grounded until they are inspected and repaired. We plan to make this inspection a specialty and service the immediate backlog of orders.
The FAA has also issued other AD for Piper aircraft for a similar wing spar inspection due to corrosion. This affects over 10,000 aircraft.
The issues illustrated above -- FAA-mandated transition to ADS-B, a reduction in available avionics dealers, and industry-mandated inspections and repairs -- are lucrative aviation markets in which Shrike Eagle Aviation is poised to compete successfully.
We Are The Solution
WHO WILL HELP THE AVIATION INDUSTRY NOW?
Shrike Eagle Aviation (SEA), a veteran-owned Limited Liability Company, proposes the following solution: We plan to purchase existing FBO/MRO companies from owners who want to sell or retire. We will locate the companies at airports that have space to build new and larger hangars, and other facilities.
Las Cruces Airport, KLRU is owned by the City of Las Cruces, NM. The new Airport Director brings extensive experience in transportation and spent the last five years revitalizing the downtown Main Street area. The city, the State of New Mexico, and the FAA are investing millions of dollars in infrastructure rehabilitation and expansion. Facility upgrades include a new security fence around the airport with card-controlled access gates; pavement upgrades to runway, taxiways. We will propose new roads; redesigned and enlarged hangar development space. Future growth includes the extension of two runways to 8,500’ and 10,500’, respectively.
Why We’ll Lead
Our maintenance facility will serve the 130 aircraft that are already based in Las Cruces. All we need is the operating company to be established – we will become cash flow positive in the second month of market operations.
There is only one mechanic within 40 miles of this space. There is a HUGE need for services.
Hangars at Las Cruces are a major part of the future. No one has set up a list of people needing hangars. With a list, we can show investors we have serious customers for hangars. Each hangar customer should be a new customer for the MRO.
First, on the list will be Executive Interiors. They have been based at Lac Cruces for 40 years. They want a new hangar large enough for a Gulfstream-type aircraft.
Lenders Are Ready: We have lenders who are interested in providing millions of dollars on infrastructure build out. In fact, we have a lender lined up that is ready to loan us $50M or more.
Those funds are dependent only on our ability to set up the operating company. This is what this raise is for! Thus, investors can get in early for a potentially large quick return.
Virgin Galactic is Already There: Virgin Galactic is operating out of this proposed acquisition target. This means that billionaires will be bringing their aircrafts to this space. We could easily provide state of the art services to these customers, with little marketing costs involved.
Post-COVID World: The aviation space is rebound after COVID. With fewer competitors, it makes our offering even more compelling.
This is a large space to tackle, and we have the Strongest, most Determined team in place to make our project a success.
Traction & Accomplishments
We will be acquiring an existing FAA Part 145 company that has the certification and personnel.
With the FAA Part 145, the company has the certification that customers need to have work done.
We have access to the Supplemental Type Certification (STC) that is required for any extensive modification from the manufactures we represent.
We will be dealers or distributors of all avionics and a supplier of aviation certified parts with FAA the Part 145 certification.
We will be acquiring other locations that have manufacture service center designations to allow us to buy parts directly for that manufacturer, as well as be paid for warranty work.
