Meet Road Finch: the innovative advertising company on a mission to reinvent advertising once and for all.
What was the last memorable advertisement that you remember? Was it radio, TV, online or outdoors? Do you recall what that message was? Or who it was from?
Here at Road Finch, we make it our mission to provide fresh, innovative advertising that blows traditional advertising methods out of the water.
At Road Finch, we believe that:
We founded this company in 2014 on the principles that we can offer our customers mobile advertising at a much lower cost of entry than other forms of outdoor advertising, and that we can use our customers’ advertising dollars more effectively because we only advertise where and when they need us.
In other words: at Road Finch, we think it's time for outdoor advertising to get an update for the 21st century.
And that's exactly what we're setting out to provide.
There's no getting around it: traditional outdoor advertising is dead. Much like radio, TV, and news print, audiences have become so accustomed to seeing ads on billboards, they’ve become desensitized. Billboards simply no longer have the impact that 21st-century businesses need to stand out, drive traffic, and grow their business.
At Road Finch, we see outdoor advertising just a bit differently. With our eco-friendly bicycle fleet and team of highly trained Brand Ambassadors, Road Finch delivers low-cost, high-impact advertising that will make your message truly unforgettable.
Like we said, Road Finch does advertising differently. What does that mean? It comes down to five key factors:
Eco-Friendliness
Why use a form of mobile advertising that is potentially offensive to your customers? Why burn fossil fuels to promote your business? We can go where trucks can’t, and we don’t impact the environment. We are proud to be people-powered and people-friendly.
Value
Our mobile advertising has a much lower cost of entry than other forms of outdoor advertising, and uses your advertising dollars more effectively because we only advertise where and when you need us. And, unlike other traditional advertising, our Brand Ambassadors can provide you engagement and immediate customer feedback.
Memorabitity
Our form of mobile advertising is memorable, but our Brand Ambassadors make it unforgettable. Unlike traditional advertising, our people-powered advertising engages with your customers. We take them beyond brand awareness by answering their questions and providing them your promotional materials, coupons, and more!
Targeting
Unlike other forms of outdoor advertising, we can go where and when you need us. We work with you to determine the best places and times to reach your customers – often high-traffic areas where traditional outdoor advertising can’t go.
Creativity
We can work with your advertising creative materials, or we can produce them for you. We provide full creative services from logo and brand development, to print materials and promotional items, to full website design. We can create and deliver consistent messaging for you across all channels.
Here's how it works:
Our in-house design team works with you to create your ad and any other promotional materials we need: graphics, shirts, flyers, and handouts.
We educate our Brand Ambassadors on your brand and your message.
We send our fleet of Brand Ambassadors into targeted, high-traffic areas to not only display your ad, but to engage your customers and hand out promotional materials.
Your customers will remember you.
This three-pronged approach to advertising produces a single, lasting effect: your customers will remember your message far and above any other ads they encounter.
That claim is backed up by Product and Research Acceptance, Inc., which found that 94 percent of respondents recalled mobile billboards with an amazing 80 percent recall of specific ads.
And those are just mobile ads. Imagine the increased recall when we add personal engagement: real, live people talking to your target customers about your brand.
With our ultra-low cost model which significantly reduces the barrier to entry for small businesses, and our low overhead, we will soon expand to 7 other large-sized cities in the short term.
In the long term, the sky’s the limit.
Pedro A. Avila, Founder: The founder and driving force behind Road Finch, he was inspired by the many self-made employers he worked for. It was there he learned what worked – and what didn’t. By combining his Academy of Art University education with his entrepreneurial spirit, he elevated the bike trailer and ambassador concept and, using his strong leadership skills and passion, turned it into a business. His interests include Zebra-finches and his Volkswagen, which drove him to develop the Road Finch brand name.
Angie M. Medina, HR Director: Her experience includes over 20 years of sales, management and human resources experience, 12 of which have been in a leadership role. She is a Human Resource Specialist with a strong knowledge in recruitment, employee relations, leadership and employee development, training, compensation, benefits and worker’s compensation. Her love of animals is second to that of her kids, which she has raised as a single mother while serving in management positions with a commitment to excellence.
Shawn Alfaro, Art Director: As head of the Art Department, his responsibilities cover a broad range, from creating client graphics to be used on advertising campaigns, to leading Road Finch’s design core. He has over 15 years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite and other graphics and design programs. His other strengths include schooling and experience in industrial arts and design, which aid in the development and construction of Road Finch’s advertising fleet.
Cim Medriano, Lead Web Designer: Road Finch’s core web designer. His expertise comes into play when rebranding a client’s website. His passion for programing led him to attain his AS degree in Software Applications and Programing from ITT Technical Institute. His hobbies include active participation in several programmer and coder community forums where he lends his expertise. After high school he worked on a fishing boat in Alaska for a year to raise money to invest in equipment to further enhance his web development capabilities.
Danine Soliven, Media Specialist: Driven by a strong design aesthetic, she creates the multimedia content for the company and customer websites. This includes videos, social media, blogs, and mobile/tablet applications. She has also navigated into the world of art working as a Paint Nite artist/instructor, and has participated in several film productions while attending San Joaquin Delta College as a Broadcast and Electronic Communications Major. She has closely worked with Emmy Award-winning line producer Marsha Posner Williams, and was mentored by Rick Page (Brooklyn Nine-Nine Camera operator).
