Reemo is the World's Best Interface for Connected Homes

The interface for the connected home sucks. Reemo is the next generation interface for the Internet of Things, or more realistically, any internet connected device. We invented the technology of wearable gesture control for physical environments and we're bringing it to market through our wrist-worn device that integrates with any connected home platform through our API. Reemo uses Bluetooth LE to connect to your smartphone, and enables you to control any device or group of devices with one of our 9-axis IMU-enabled gestures. We're also building an additional wireless BLE reference sensor for grouping devices to a single point-to-control method. The team behind Reemo has put together 13 patents around the technology since before the company was in business. Reemo is making the internet of things actually approachable.

Product Details for Reemo

Reemo is an app-enabled Wristband, and optional BLE IR receivers. Online retail price of $249 for wristband and 3 receivers (the app is free, of course).

We work with the following home control platforms currently: Nest, Icontrol OpenHome (Time Warner, Cox, ADT, Hue, Comcast, etc), AllJoyn, SmartThings, and Logitech Harmony.
 

  • The wristband has BLE 4.0, 9-axis IMU, Lith Ion Battery, and an ARM Cortex Microprocessor. The rechargeable battery life is 3-7 days.
  • Our app is the brain of the system that is used to set up new devices/platforms that Reemo can control.
  • The wireless receivers include an IR receiver, BLE, and a recharchable battery. These have a 2 year battery life.

He has founded and run a non-profit foundation that grosses $35k+/year and a student-run golf tournament that has raised over $15,000 for student college tuition. He has a variety of personal and professional experiences that he brings to the table. All in all, he is resourceful and believes in the value of a good attitude.
