The goal of the company is to provide superior wild seafood to restaurants, hotels,resorts, country clubs and nursing homes, along with website specials.We are a total customer focused company. Where the majority of the wholesalers in this business only contact customers by phone, we go the extra mile with face to face meetings and weekend personal deliveries and after hour rescues. By bringing in whole fish and crab here and processing our products here we remove the additional costs that would be incurred by having the fish processed on the west coast, thus creating a reasonably priced products, while providing employment opportunities to at least 16 to 30  people. As a family owned and operated company, the personal touch and attention to details places us above all others.

In early 2011 after returning back to Washington State to be with family at Lummi Reservation, the idea was proposed of creating markets here on the east coast for dungenous crab, and fresh wild salmon, and if a viable business was able to be created. The families have chosed a life as salmon fishermen and crabbers on the puget sound and the surrounding rivers for hundreds of years. The name of the company was decided upon as "Red River Seafood Company", because the family land has the river running thru the property. After returning to the east coast I began researching potential markets, assessing the desire for the products, and established a customer base. We developed a strategic plan over a span of six months, creating a drop ship company as a wholesale broker, with cold storage facilities located strategically thruought the eastcoast.

the principles and management team represent a combination of expertise, each highly proficient in regards to their areas as associated within the structure of the company. All of the team members have worked with organizations that are revenue and goal driven, and maintain exceptional standards in customer service and quality.

Jim Crismond-President/CEO and owner is a Navy Vetereran, honorably discharged in 1984, while in the Navy was a P3 Flight Engineer and attended Embry Ryttle Aeronautical University. He gained management and small business experience as the sole owner of a marine repair company after spending several years with local shipyards that performed Navy and Commercial shipping repairs. In 997 while living in Washington State, He was project manager for commercial projects for construction of a tribal casino and a lage general contractor in Seattle, and continued in this field after returning to Jacksonville,Fl in 2005. In 2011 after returning from Washington to see family, the idea of creating a wholesale business that would bring salmon,crab,and other northwest wild, fresh, and sustainable seafood to the east coast began. Researching all possibilities, discussions with tribal affiliations, processors in Alaska and thruought the west coast, creating affiliations with ASMI, and the Alaska fish and Game agency, ended in the creation of Chesapeake Bay Enterprises/Red River Seafood Company being formed. this was followed by a year of developing a customer base, establishing logistical infrastructure for cold shipping and live product delivery, and creating cold storage drop ship locations.

Carol Crismond-VP/CFO and co-owner - Accounting/Human Resources, obtained a BA in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Her primary career focused on human resources management for 20 years. As an HR manager at AT&T for 13 years was able to achieve expertise in all of the diverse areas of HR such as employment staffing,benefits administration,career development,payroll specialist,and educational administrator led her to a future as an HR director. After returning to Washington State held a the position as Director of HR for Northwest Indian College, and was recruited to be Director for the Lummi Indian Nation- Tribal Government before returning to Jacksonville, Fl in 2005, and presently serves as Finance manager for a non-profit organization, Tree Hill, Inc. a nature preserve.The commitment to the success of Red River Seafood Company is driven by the link to the family fisherman and crabbers in washington and with the family here on the east coast.

Daniel Nasta -GM/VP-Operations, BA finance(institutional) from University of North Florida. The expertise and knowledge he brings is 18 years of experience in diverse management positions in account management, operations, and financial services. Daniel's background includes management development skills in various areas of mortgage servicing, consultative selling, marketing strategies, quality analysis, team development and change management. Project management, supervision of large teams, and achieving departmental goals compliments the management team with specialization needed for accomplishing the company goals in the operational aspect of the processing plant. His expertise will assist in providing a solid foundation within the management team model. Daniel is a family member with a vested interest in the success of the Red River Seafood Company.
