I also have strong ties with the venture capital and private equity community of Boston. As a director of a venture capital firm that invests in companies optimizing the use radio frequency spectrum in wireless networks worldwide, I develop strategic IP assets for portfolio companies to facilitate large exit valuations. I further serve as an advisor for a private equity firm that acquired over $300M of spectrum licenses in the most lucrative FCC spectrum auction to date. As a serial entrepreneur, I am also familiar with the challenges faced by startups in developing business plans, attracting investment, and developing robust intellectual property positions. As CTO of a wireless startup, I was integral in developing and securing IP protection for ground breaking wireless filtration technologies. I am currently serving my third term as a board member of the Boston Patent Law Association (BPLA).

Prior to starting New Edge Marketing, Mr. Kraft was President & CEO of a printing company as he guided it from a commoditized industry small printer in 2003, to a technology driven multichannel communications company with comprehensive mobile based solutions. During his tenure, for 12 years before he left, he successfully led the company through 6 acquisitions and the Great Recession, which positioned them with 3 plants across the country, and two Inc. 5000 awards. Mr. Kraft had the distinct honor of serving as a panelist for President George W. Bush’s “Strengthening Social Security” forum on May 19, 2005. Mr. Kraft has served on numerous boards: CEO Roundtable of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce (2003-2014), CEOs of Growing Businesses (2007-2015), Law Tanning Company (2015- Present) and is Co-Chair for Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson’s Finance Team for his 2016 re-election campaign. He was also awarded the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2012 40 under 40, an award honoring 40 Southeastern Wisconsin people (under 40 years of age) making a difference in the business community. Mr. Kraft earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.
