Mark teaches regular class at both current studios and plans to teach at the new Bernal Heights studio as well once it opens. Mark has been instructing yoga in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2009. He completed his first training with Larry Schultz, Marie Schultz and Donovan Hicks in July 2010. Mark has been influenced by many instructors teaching traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa and variations, including the Rocket and Isometric Monkey Yoga. Mark brings a physically challenging yet comedic and light-hearted approach to his classes.

David is the driving force for all things MOXIE. He has pioneered the vision for what makes MOXIE unique and different in the yoga rich community of San Francisco. With his experience as a partner at Noise Pop, David has created our music program and designed most of our playlists. He is an active contributor to the local San Francisco area with several business ventures influencing the lifestyle, health and wellness of individuals in the community. He is also a partner at Netimeas Restaurant Group and Noise-Pop. His experience within multiple small businesses has given MOXIE the insight necessary to be successful and build something truly special.

Marci is the General Manager at MOXIE and she has been working at MOXIE since we opened back in 2013. She manages the schedule, marketing, operations, graphic design, public relations, and human resources just to name a few of her many responsibilities.

Colleen is an east coast transplant with a passion for all things health and fitness related. Her first exposure to yoga was as a college athlete and she was instantly hooked. She enrolled in Yoga Medicine's 200hr Teacher Training to deepen her understanding of the practice and dove into the 500hr program immediately thereafter. In addition to her yoga training Colleen studied Holistic Health and believes balance is the key to a healthy, happy life. Colleen takes a lighthearted approach to her personal practice, as well as her classes, and encourages her students to do the same. You can expect a fun, safe, and anatomically focused flow, with plenty of chances to find your edge from all of her classes.

Irene is one of the first graduates from the MOXIE Training, she completed her training, led by Mark Rausa and Leia Layus, in 2015. Her classes focus on safe and proper alignment, linking breath with movement, and the ability to direct attention to nothing but the present.
