LusTea is a contemporary tea house with a cafe area designed to encourage male patrons to dine with us.  Our private party rooms have all the ambiance of a Victorian parlor, Japanese tea house, or Gypsy caravan.  The menu at LusTea is completely gluten free and we will have a seperate vegan kitchen.

Every person I have spoken with about LusTea immediately comments that they are or know someone who has Celiac, gluten intolerance, egg or milk allergies, or a combination of food allergies.  A common complaint is that they can not eat out or dine out with their friend because of the threat of cross contamination no matter what they order from the average restauarant.  With the number of Celiac quadrupling in the last 20 years, a gluten free establishments seemed like the perfect fit for my community and near by towns.

We have scoured every source available to create a flavorful and diverse menu including appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and sweet delicacies.  For those who do not suffer from any food allergies, there are still plenty of delicious and healthy reasons to dine at LusTea.

Weather you have food allergies or are just looking for an incredible salad, LusTea has designed our menu with you in mind.  Salads, sandwiches, and an array of healthy but delicious desserts have been pulled together to create an unforgettable menu that will keep patrons coming back day after day. 

Since starting our journey to open LusTea, I have met an incredible number of men who enjoy tea.  It was for the men that we designed our walk-in dinning room in a contemporary cafe style completely void of the needle point and lace doilies found in the average English tea house.

We have carefully crafted five adult and three child themed tea parties to be hosted in private, themed party rooms within our establishment. 

For the ladies:  Our Victorian Parlor will host our Queen's low tea, Wonderland tea complete with Mad Hatter, or Masquerade tea party.  Each party will come with a favor for each guest to help bring the party theme to life. A four course meal and tea will be provided as well as music and a dedicated hostess.

Our Asian tea room will host a Geisha tea party complete with a kimono robe for each of your guests.  The party will begin with a brief Chaneyu - Japanese tea ceremony.

My favorite!  In our Bohemian Caravan room treat yourself to a Gypsy tea party complete with a brief belly dancing demonstration.  Each guest gets a hip scarf and a tea leaf reading.

For the kiddos: We have three themes which will all be hosted in the Victorian parlor: Alice's Wonderland Tea, Miss Spider's Tea Party, and a Menagerie Tea.

My husband and I moved to Livermore, CA in 2006 and knew no one in the area.  That wasn't a huge burden when it was just the two of us wrapped up in each-other, but became difficult when we had our first child.  Luckily, I found Livermore Moms, a social club for moms in the area.  I now have two small children who have grown up in the playgroups and family events that Livermore Moms offers and I have had the pleasure of volunteering on their Board of Directors these past 3 years.  One of the great benefits of being involved in the BOD for Livermore Moms is that I have gotten to see first hand how much our community supports each other.  The local small business', charities, and not-for-profits that make this valley amazing have left me with a healthy awe and admiration. 

LusTea is passionate about giving back to this community and making sure that places like Agape Village, Shepherds Gate, Taylor Camp, and Benefits for Fallen Heros Fund are around to support this community in the future.  Having a sister in the military I am also very passionate about Wounded Warriors and other vet benefit foundations. LusTea plans to donate 5% of our annual net profits to charity and not-for-profit foundations like these.  We would like to invite you to be a part of that generosity while helping LusTea get our doors open.
