There are approximately 50MM women in the US between the ages of 45 – 60 suffering through the many symptoms of menopause. Treatment options currently available are either harmful prescriptions or OTC pills.  Women would prefer a natural remedy that fits their lifestyle and life stage.  Live Cool™ is a revolutionary great tasting, soft chew that combines herbs and other natural ingredients that are scientifically proven safe and effective for the reduction and relief of many symptoms of menopause including irritability, sleeplessness, hot flashes and night sweats.

We know there are many choices available for the treatment of menopause symptoms.  When we began developing Live Cool™, our first thought was to give women a better, more effective choice than a pill.  Women shared with us what they would want if the choice was up to them.  They laid out four basic requirements:

Traction and Funding Needs

We launched Live Cool on 10/14 via our Live-Cool.com website, on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.  We are running several test PPC campaigns on Google and additional test campaigns on Facebook.  Our campaign results continue to improve daily - our CPC and CTR are very good and above average.  Our ads have ranked in the top 5 on Google - we believe this will continue to improve with time in the market.

We have 4 years of research on both the menopause industry and direct to consumer advertising.  We've developed an extensive financial model that incorporates the key elements for success in a direct response campaign.  Our management team has collectibely over 60 years of consumer packaged goods experience at the highest levels.

About the Business and Team

We all have someone in our lives who has been through menopause. For most women, the change can cause significant stress not only on their bodies but also on everything in her life.  We decided to start this business for several reasons.  The first was that we were at a time in our own lives where the subject is very relevant.  Secondly, after some very cursory research, we were shocked at how women in this age group have been virtually ignored by major marketers.  Last, but definitely not least, we wanted to create something that women would be proud to support from a product usage perspective as well as from a sense of community and education. 

We have a very small team that puts mind, body and soul into developing this business on a daily basis.  Our senior executives are:

Shannon Reagan, Chief Executive Officer and Founder
Shannon is an established sales, marketing, finance and operations professional with twenty years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry. She has demonstrated expertise in translating product, marketing and sales plans into action-oriented strategies for a profitable bottom line. Shannon has both founded and has been a lead contributor in start-ups as well as marquee companies such as Mattel/Fisher Price, Coca-Cola Enterprises, and Valassis Communications. She holds a BA in Marketing from St. Joseph’s University, a top ranking food-marketing university.

Christopher Henry, Chief Operating Officer and Founder,
Chris oversees the company’s strategic planning, media strategy, strategic relationships, product development and vendor negotiations. Chris is a Senior Sales/Marketing Executive who has excelled in the consumer packaged goods industry for more than thirty years. He has lead fortune 500 sales organizations such as M&M/Mars, Mattel/Fisher Price, and Diamond of California as well as start-ups. Chris holds a BS from the University of New York at Oswego.
