Due to the bacteria and foreign substances they collect, makeup brushes have long been a source of acne breakouts and other skin issues for beauty consumers - but not anymore.  Our device helps ensure flawless makeup and clear skin, every time.

A COMMON MAKEUP MISHAP

So, what’s the big deal?  Well, dirty makeup brushes can quickly build up bacteria, oil, old makeup, dead skin, and dust - a crushing combination that can cause:

Brush cleaning should be minimum a weekly task in order to avoid these pitfalls - but it’s not happening.  This is largely due to the limited number of available options, which forces consumers to engage in time-consuming, labor-intensive, and messy hand washing.

INSIDE LILUMIA

Lilumia’s unique design really does deliver unmatched convenience to every type of makeup enthusiast, regardless of how often makeup is worn.  Here’s a top-level glimpse at how the new Zoë  device works:

Pour liquid - Warm water goes into the Clean Water Area, along with 2 ounces of Lilumia Cleanser & 2 ounce of warm water directly onto the cleaning disk

Load brushes - Insert up to 20 makeup brushes into the brush holder from the bottom up, engaging them with the cleaning disk

Start - Press power to start; 1 wash cycle and 3 rinse cycles will be completed. For both the wash and rinse cycles Zoë rotates 45 degrees back and forth. Brushes agitates against the silicone disk for effective washing and rinsing

Dry - Following the 3 rinse cycles the brush tree will pop up about 1 inch to spin dry the brushes in just 10 minutes, at which point, the brushes are available for immediate use. Fully automatic and no manual intervention.

The new Zoë device has major improvements compared to the current version Lilumia 2 including:

Brush tree contains 12 brush slots vs 6 brush slots (way more capacity)

Cleaning disk has specialized areas with unique patterns vs a universal textured design

Rotates 45 degrees back and forth vs 15 degrees

Cylindric design vs egg shape design making the device about 30% less in size

Spin dry in 10 minutes vs air dry over night

Stronger motor and stellar LED lights indicating the different cycles

Zoë Taylor - a professional model and regular makeup wearer who often suffered from skin issues.

Digging deeper, she found the brush issue to be common among makeup enthusiasts - and set out to develop a solution that would change the industry.

Boasting 12 years in the beauty industry and over 5 years of management experience, Zoë remains responsible for daily operations and product development.
