The Brooklyn food desert, the NYC nutrition trap. Everyone who lives in our beloved borough understands the sacrifice they’re making by living in NYC. By calling the greatest city in the world home, you know you’re sacrificing the availability of quality food at an affordable price. Juice Jitsu is here to change that. 

Food Comes From Farms

         We’ve come to the conclusion that the only way to fix things is to change the food landscape of our neighborhoods, one at a time, by providing nutritious juices, smoothies and snacks and using ingredients sourced from local, organic, non-GMO, pesticide-free farms. Inspired by the warmth and kindness we found in Brazil and around the world, we hope to bring about a change in our own community. By providing the healthiest ingredients possible and to make our concoctions affordable to everyone, we hope to help those who are most in need of proper nutrition.

       Juice Jitsu will be buzzing a hub for the community. We will host group runs and reward our customers for participating in these group runs with the JJ Punch Card System. We will also host ‘Learning Events’ which will range from in-store lectures given by food and fitness gurus, film screenings of documentaries, and striking Ted Talks that discuss interesting findings in food/nutrition. There will also be a reward for attending these ‘Learning Events.’ The JJ Punch Card System will be an exciting incentive for the community to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.

Juice Jitsu is a juice and smoothie bar. We offer fresh, made-to-order juices, wheat grass, wellness shots, and homemade snacks (such as granola, cookies, brownies, chocolates).

Juice Jitsu will be the only establishment in the area focusing on juice and smoothies. While providing the highest quality, delicious and nutritious juices, smoothies and snacks, we also aim to make our store affordable to everyone. As many of our ingredients as possible will be sourced as locally as possible from environmentally conscious farms in an effort to make a positive change in our nation's crippled food system.
