JaxMax Pet Food is an all natural, Soy free dog food.  It is naturally preserved and carefully prepared in an A.I.B. (American Institute of Baking) certified facility located in a small Kansas town. JaxMax is available in the Charlotte, NC region through in-store pickup and local delivery. JaxMax provides the essential nutrition for healthy puppies and adults. Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids are properly balanced and in sufficient quantity. Glucosamine and Chondroitin are in quantities that can be absorbed and used by the dog's body. We also have a Weight control diet for neutered and spayed dogs to maintain an ideal body weight.

Each 2 lb. bag is resealable to maintain freshness.  Convenient and easy to store. These snacks compliment the Puppy & Adult or Weight Control meals. 

Over the last two and a half years, we've worked to establish a reputation for a reliable supply of high quality dog food. 

Demand has remained strong, even through a soft economy. Timing is everything! The economy is picking up steam at the same time, manufacture availability is readily available. This wasn't so just a few years ago.

We've experimented with social media marketing. This seems to be a great avenue to "get the word out"

Most pet foods are designed to meet price points. While this does make business sense and sounds logical, "dogs don't eat numbers though". As redundant as that might sound, numerous pet foods are designed exactly that way. For example, someone would say "Here is what our market research says, we can sell an X pound bag of dog chow for...". 

In designing JaxMax - We put the dog first. We asked the important and commonly overlooked question - what do dogs need? Other questions arose such as, why choose this chicken meal over the cheaper chicken meal? Why use natural preservatives over artificial preservatives? All have significant impact on the dog.

25+ years of Labrador and Golden Retriever raising experience contributed to the development of JaxMax Pet Food. We've seen the end result of a poor diet, and it isn't pretty. A great looking bag more often than not, has an inferior product inside. Our slogan is our motto we live by "JaxMax...Because He's Family".

Development

We hired the best doctor in the business, a Carnivore Nutritionist, to formulate all of our products. He was irritable, crotchety, and a pain in the butt. Well worth it though because he knew nutrition better than anyone else. Having spent two decades with a top brand, we knew he was the right man for the job. And he delivered a winning formula. It was like winning the lottery, knowing you were going to win. JaxMax was born!

JaxMax Pet Food was designed to provide the proper nutrition for Labradors and Goldens. Selecting our target audience of just Labrador and Golden owners, we were able to cater to a massive group of large breed consumers. Most people that rescue dogs at shelters always say their dog is "Lab and ...". Everyone loves the Lab. Labradors and Golden Retrievers have the highest demand for quality nutrition. 99.999% of all dog food is designed for Hound dogs, which have a much lower demand, thus they are cheaper to feed. Consequently, the Labrador and Golden Retriever suffer with hot spots, excessive shedding, OCD and Hip Dysplasia, from being on a diet geared towards Hound dogs.
