Over the past few years, one innovation in particular has come to define the mobile industry: the iBeacon. Using iBeacon and other NFC technologies, users can perform (and, just as crucially, be prompted to perform) a wide range of context-specific actions, from checking their social media accounts to taking advantage of an exciting promotion or sale happening at a location near them.

iVeew beacons will be placed in airports and other high-traffic areas.  When users touch down at the airport and have used a mobile boarding pass from an airline, our beacons will recognize the user and push a welcome message alerting them to the opportunity to download coupons and passes. 

2014 was a big year for iVeew from a development standpoint, and we’re ready to come out the gate strong with big business development initiatives that will propel iVeew directly to the forefront of mobile tourism industry innovation.

Our team has developed several mobile apps for Vail, CO in the past, which we successfully sold to a larger marketing company located in Vail. We have also partnered with US Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourism Association and developed applications to engage with visitors to the Islands

All of this is valuable experience that we’re putting to work with our new generation of apps.

The iVeew team has successfully completed development on an iBeacon with over-the-air updating functions. Our beacon is also open source, which creates huge opportunity for integration with popular apps -- Uber, for example -- as well as other 3rd-party APIs.

Major names in the travel and tourism industry are already catching onto iVeew and the exciting potential of our technology. We have a signed contract with US Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourism, as well as several major airlines, and the largest owner of deep-water marinas around the world. Talks are ongoing with many other organizations, including a major credit card company, a big hotel chain and a media company, just to name a few.

Tom Griffin, President
Tom is a serial entrepreneur with over 17 years of experience in the travel industry. Tom Griffin is the President of iVeew, leading the Mobile Enterprise Application Platform for the travel and hospitality industry using iVeew iBeacon technology . Focusing on internet and mobile solutions for the hospitality and travel industry with experience in providing white label solutions for advertising major travel groups such as Travelocity, Expedia, Booking.com, Orbitz and Priceline. Working with major agencies such as Publisis Modem and large hotel groups including Marriot, IHG, Starwood and Hilton. Destination Marketing Associations & Convention Visitor Bureaus. Tom officially began development of iVeew in January 2012 with the rollout of an Enterprise platform for the travel and hospitality industry incorporating geo-fencing mobile applications and late last year after the announcement by Apple of iBeacons technology will occur July, 2014. Tom’s expertise in the online travel and hospitality industry often allows him to speak at major travel events and participate in panel discussions focusing on travel solutions at technology conferences around the world. He has sat on a number travel related advisory boards.

Alex Libushyn, CTO
Alex has a Master Degree in Computer Engineering and has been heding up development teams for wearables, Bluetooth LE devices and more for over 15 years. Alex oversees a development team consisting of full stack developers MS Asp.Net.MVC 4.5 Front End developers IOS,Android and Windows mobile developers.

During my time with Air France, I was the founder of the CASMA organization to enable the airlines to exchange ideas and issue related to their CRS and GDS issues. Richard has been involved in a number of travel start-ups as well as long standing companies such as Amadeus, as President of US Group. Sales and marketing methods will continue to evolve, but the goal remains the same and that is to communicate, deliver value and convert sales at a revenue profit or an added benefit. My goal is to continue to learn, create and recognize the newest and most effective sales and marketing methods and to apply them effectively to my business and the services I provide my clients.
