A costly legal system struggles to manage over 1 billion court hearings every year, now an unprecedented backlog due to Covid-19. 

Lawyers who cannot attend a hearing have very few options: rescheduling or appearing by telephone (both of which require several days notice), or finding a stand-in.

Currently, only credit card companies and mortgages have a network of associates to stand in at the courthouse to streamline their cases. The rest of the 1.3 million lawyers use a phone tree or an e-mail list serve. 

The public is disenfranchised by the cost, backlog of cases, and inconsistent rulings in court. Lawyers are unable to deliver a streamlined process for clients.
