A package manager and app store of Web (d)apps based on ICP blockchain. It returns the users control over their apps (lost in the Web era) and also may speedup ICP apps.

Our first priority is user's security. Cloud accounts are sometimes hacked or get bankrupt, but blockchain that we use is immune to hacking.

Package manager implemented as an UI and an API. It will be like Google Play and have all common features of Linux package managers, such as installing/uninstalling dependencies.

It is supported installation of packages from multiple repositories.

We also develop software for managing a repository of packages.

This project won 2nd prize in Open Internet Summer 2024.

Installed packages can interact in fractions of a second instead of ~2s delay typical for interoperating ICP applications.

There was implemented an algorithm to make our package manager protected from (intentional and unintentional) DoS attacks, be they from a package author or a company that holds a repository of packages.

Also this algorithm allows installations/deinstallations to happen rather quickly.

We are apparently the first package manager for Web (d)apps, that gives user full control over installed software. The user is self-sovereign, what means that nobody can update user's software without his/her consent.

Traditionally Web apps (and frontends of dapps) are controlled by external entitites, such as the app's developer or often DAO in the case of dapps. This implies that the user no longer has control over his/her apps. We return control back using blockchain security.

It's also worth mention, that our users do not need to install a browser extension (like MetaMask), but our software works in all modern browsers. We use 2FA authentication using WebAuthn technology for prevalent user security.
