In most states electric bikes are considered bicycles, meaning they do not require a license, registration, or insurance. They can go anywhere a normal bicycle can, traveling an average of 20mph. This is great news for those with restricted or suspended driving privileges.

HyBikes are also extremely affordable. First, e-bikes don’t require gas. You simply plug your bike into any regular outlet and let it charge. Instead of paying three or four dollars per gallon, you’ll pay around ten cents per charge. HyBikes are the most affordable electric bike option around. We offer no interest financing of just $99 per month and we don’t do credit checks. Just continue to make payments until you’re bike is paid for.

HyBikes is a full-service e-bike retailer. We’ve designed and manufactured our own line of e-bikes, cutting out the middleman. If you ever have a problem with your HyBike you can bring it right into our retail shop and we’ll have the parts and expertise to fix your problem. No other e-bike retailers offer that kind of support. 

HyBikes currently offers 5 different bike models, ranging from basic cruisers to serious mountain bikes. Most models are equipped with luggage racks, headlights, taillights, turn signals and horns. Our best selling models also come equipped with front turn signals, rear view mirrors, and a wireless alarm system which emits a siren and locks the wheels and pedals when set off.

HyBikes began with one bike, a card table, and a pop-up tent on the campus of Arizona State University.

After 4 years of growth, we started to design, manufacture and import our own line of e-bikes.

Three years ago we opened our 1st retail store in Phoenix and eventually moved into a larger warehousing and retail space.

We’ve seen an average of 20% growth year to year, with over 1,000 HyBike customers.

 HyBikes has been featured on both Good Morning Arizona and Fox 10 Phoenix.

David has worked as a sales manager for MCI Consumer Markets long-distance company and began his sales career with Subaru of America in Seattle Washington. Seven years ago he began selling electric bikes one at time on Arizona State University’s campus armed with just a tent and a card table.
