The product shown below is our Microscope Explorer Kit. It is just one of our amazing products which is designed to get children interested in science. This product does it through the use of a microscope and some uncleaned ancient coins. Children learn how to use a microscope while they learn how, when, and where the ancient coins were made. They learn how to properly clean the coins, use the microscope to identify which Roman Emporer had them minted, and when they were minted. The coins are genuine so the children are always fascinated when they realize they are holding coins that are 1000+ years old!  This product was designed to be fun and educational at the same time. Children learn biology and history from this product. 

All of our products are specifically designed and chosen for their quality (they all are research grade microscopes and magnifiers) and ability to hold and maintain a childs interest. 

We are in the process of designing an amazing new microscope which will incorporate a tablet (similiar to an Ipad) into the microscope. This will allow for easy viewing of the specimen, taking a picture of the specimen, and sharing it with others or incorporating it with their lab work. Incorporating a tablet into a microscope will attract a childs interest and be useful for many other learning activities.

HobbyScopes.com is a new company which has gotten off to a great start! Our sales have been strong, particularily in the hobby/ coin collecting market. The products were selected specifically for the coin/ stamp collector market based on magnifications that are typically required by those customers. In addition, the owner has specifically worked with the manufacturer to insure the product quality is at the same level as research microscopes. 

As HobbyScopes.com grows, we will be able to pursue more and more science education product development projects and develop microscopes which are on the cutting edge of technology yet be affordable for children, schools, and home schoolers.

Microscope design has not changed much over the years. We, at HobbyScopes.com, want to change that! We are planning a complete "makeover" of the standard microscope design to bring it into the 21st century. It will be not only cutting edge, easy to use and understand, but at a price point that most families and schools will be able to purchase them. 

In addition, the owner of HobbyScopes.com has been involved in science, especially microscopes, for over 20 years so he truly knows and understands what customers are looking for in a microscope. He also knows which markets, other than science labs, where a microscope can be successfully marketed.
