Hemp was on the verge of becoming a billion-dollar industry before it was banned in 1937. More than 80 years later, legislation made it legal to grow and export hemp domestically, and more than 100 new CBD companies open their doors each week.

Still, we’re just starting to discover the power of CBD (cannabidiol) and lesser-known cannabinoids like CBG (cannabigerol), CBC (cannabichromene) and CBN (cannabinol).

These substances have the potential to revolutionize personal care and industry, while also leading the fight against serious health issues including depression, cancer, Alzheimer’s and IBS, just to name a few.

The hemp plant and its extracts have enormous potential. Our goal is to partner with other companies to help move alternative supplements derived from hemp into the mainstream.

DEVELOPMENT
Health Plus has developed a combination of proprietary and commercial equipment to extract cannabinoids and isolate CBD. We will also be able to pursue single cannabinoids like CBG, CBC and CBN to create customized formulas.

PROCESS
Key to our process is the ability to create scale for THC-free oil, allowing us to ship both nationally and internationally. The process gives us improved efficacy over an isolate or single-molecule product like CBD.

At Health Plus, our team of professionals is in the business of cultivating, drying, extracting and formulating hemp products.

ISOLATE
While other companies do produce CBD isolate, our high-quality product stands out. Additionally, Our broad spectrum distillate, which contains no THC, is second to none.

EQUIPMENT
We’re adding equipment to increase and diversify our processing ability, allowing us to create valuable custom formulations.

EXTRACTION
Using chromatography, a lab process to separate individual molecules, we can filter out the THC component, as well as isolate minor cannibinoids with high value.

SHIPPING
Removing THC while keeping cannabinoids together enhances medicinal effects and eliminates barriers to interstate and international shipping.

MIKE PETRIN | COO AND PARTNER
Mike Petrin has more than 25 years of experience in construction, mechanical engineering, retail, manufacturing and operations management. He owns and operates a custom home building and light commercial construction company and loves to take on large-scale projects. For several years, Petrin has focused his passion and skill on developing and optimizing extraction equipment and processing methodology in the legal cannabis/hemp space. He oversees facility construction and operations for Health Plus.

CHRIS MARTIN | PRESIDENT AND PARTNER
Chris Martin has a diverse background with more than 25 years of experience in management, marketing, farming and business development. Martin launched a successful, nationally-acclaimed winery, named on of the Top 10 Hottest Wine Brands in 2012 by Wine Business Magazine. He served as president of the Southern Oregon Winery Association and a board member of the Oregon Wine Research Institute. Martin drives sales, marketing, farm relations and client development for Health Plus.
