What, I have learned in my journey; is that the more we embrace our natural texture, the more we learn that organic and natural hair products work best. With that being said; I am trying to develop my hand-made hair products for the retail industry. 
 

My products range from Shampoo, Deep Conditioner, Hair pudding & Growth stimulation oil. All made and tested "from*my*hair*2*yours*"...I use Shea butter as one essential ingredient along with other natural ingredients that allow the product to do some really amazing things! My product is un-like the traditional hair product because it does not have any alcohol or added preservatives. Not to mention all of my products have a sensational smell that leaves the hair smelling wonderful! People like myself with major health problems will find it un-harmful to the body & soul. My product targets the individual with the thick, coarse & thirsty hair. What that means is that it adds nourishment and shine beyond no other! I also have body butters that are all natural and infused with Shea butter as well. The skin has a glow like none other after usage. What makes it different is that you can use it every other day. The skin stays moisturized for at least 48 hours after initial application.

I have established a solid client base that adores the products and want more products added. Consumers are requesting that I formulate specific products that tailor there individual needs along with what I already have. I have thousands of steady clients that come to me monthly for their hair care needs. We started by marketing our "Honey BEE inspired box of samples"..It was don on social networking sites and it pushed sales through the roof! we have a strong follower database as well! I have done about $20,000 in sales (-)overhead expenses such as labeling, packaging & bottling. My story is a unique one and being that I was an woman who thought she could never live without her chemical enhanced hair. I had to have my life literally flash before me to realize that the chemicals were killing me.  So, Some people ask what inspired me to get my natural back? Well, that is a long story so here's the short version. In 2010, I started experiencing a magnitude of health problems that affected my life in a tremendous way. Needless, to say I found out that endometriosis. It had pretty much taken control of my body. As a result this sent me into multiple surgeries & more problems than one could ever imagine. After careful research about the disease; I found that there are multiple pesticides & chemicals that reside in many hair products, lotions & foods-- these harmful agents were feeding the disease and causing the growth of the disease to perform at more rapid rate. So, with that being said; I started playing around with different mixtures and oil blends. This was only after over the counter hair products did not seem to work for my thick, coarse and thirsty hair!  After wearing my chemist hat and playing the biologist mode I founded and launched "Happy Nappy Honey, Inc". What makes my product different from all the other up and coming hair product entrepreneurs; Is that I have a personal desire to help educate women on the importance of starting your natural desires with your hair. I know how the chemicals can affect your body in a negative light. We have to stay in touch with what touches our skins because that is entering into our systems from an external stand point. We not only have to be careful about the foods we eat but the products we use are just as important. And my personal story along with the desire to reach one and teach one will make my product excel differently. I am very confident of that!

The use of the funding that; that I desire will go towards the Patent of all recipes as well as sending them to private label development. And, lastly to hopefully have a Marketing consultant hired to help with aiding us to get the products on the retail shelves "Whole Foods, Target, Sally's etc.."
