Interest in Glover's Pepper Sauce and my creations is growing.  This month alone we added 6 new restaurants to our list of spots who offer our sauce and vinegar. As we gain momentum we prepare to move to an important phase over the next 3 months.   I currently make three products at Union Kitchen in NE DC.  It took a lot of guts to put up the funds and start making my sauce, design a label, create a process, hire some folks and churn it out all before knowing if anyone would ever buy it.  Well they did, and our legion of fans is growing.  We have over 1,000 fans on Facebook, and 125 followers on Twitter in only 3 months.

After two years of perfecting a great sauce i simply called Glover's Pepper Sauce, all of my friends said "man you gotta sell that."  I kept making it, giving it away, and eventually I said "challenge accepted."  I am like you.  I don't bring food products to market, I go to work, come home, watch television, cook, drink and enjoy good company.  This time, I wanted to do something the system was designed to keep a small guy from doing.  I would figure out how to sell my sauce to the public.

I began planning in May 2013, built a team by July, and started production at Union Kitchen in DC September 1.  I have worked hard since then, and I am now ready to move to the next level.  I need the help of many micro-investors.  I am going to ask you for your money.  Hopefully you believe I deserve your help.

We have a goal of $10,000 to fully fund the hiring of a sales and delivery person, and to pay for in store tasting personnel teams. We want a presence at varios festivals and farmers markets too.  Currently I sell and deliver to all locations, and am limited by doing it all.  The funds we are raising also will cover a local promotion campaign to spread the word to a larger audience. To grow to our goal of 20 Whole Foods, promote in all of them and succeed in growing our sales and production we need the help of fans, friends and family.  My desire to make one great pepper sauce has grown into a realization that together we can create a condiment company with a full line of different flavors.  I envision seasonal vintages, 4 sauces, our vinegar and a spicy mayo.  My fans gave me the strength to do this, and now we need your help.

I make my sauces and vinegar with passion. People see that.  My culinary vision is to make condiments that a wide audience can enjoy with their favorite foods.  I am focused on full flavor with controlled heat, that enhances your food.  This is a big part of our draw.  I want to turn our current idea of condiments upside down, spicy fans and heat phobics all get into my creations. My sauce and vinegar could viably become a staple on the tables of restaurants, deli's and dining tables.  For too long have we all been offered the same condiments.  Glover's is the next addition.  I believe it is only a short matter of time before a celebrity says they love it, or a restaurant group asks us to be on the tables of all the locations.  We need to get the word out a bit more broadly though, and that can happen over these next few months.

My pepper sauces are very unique.  We started with my original five pepper blend, but whether it is my new Jalepeno, my spicy vinegar or my 2 other sauces in development we keep to the same unique flavors.  They are all designed to used everyday in so many dishes.  This keeps people coming back, buying them and trying our other stuff.  In essence we make pickled pepper relishes and our vinegar is a by-product of that.  I buy the best available peppers on the market, pickle them fresh and process and bottle them with care and great attention.  All Glover's products can be used as a marinade, a sauce, a blend in, or as a dipping condiment.
