Free Bread, Inc. bakes and delivers fresh, certified gluten-free bread to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and gourmet markets in New York City.
How It Works
Free Bread, Inc. is the only certified gluten-free bread distributer in New York City. Our products don't look, taste, or feel gluten-free, and many of our best customers don't have adverse reactions to gluten. By all accounts our products far surpass anything that is currently available to the gluten-free market. We offer unique flavors such as Jalapeño, Sharp Cheddar and Buttermilk and dried Cranberry, spiced pepita and sunflower seed. They're soft, they're flavorful, they have a great crust, and they're a joy to eat.
Why Buy / How We're Different
The gluten-free market is expected to reach over 6 Billion dollars in 2012. The latest data estimates that at least 10% of the population of the United States has difficulty digesting gluten, but our breads aren't only meant for the gluten-free. They have a unique look that sets them apart from other offerings and the taste keeps customers coming back again and again
History, Traction, & Why We're Raising
Free Bread incorporated in June of 2011 and launched production in January 2012. We are seeking funding on Fundable because we recently entered into a partnership with Whole Foods in New York City and we need capital to purchase equipment for production ramp-up.
