We were software developers looking to build the next great software product company. In that journey trying to get an office to work in proved to be an absolute nightmare. Instead of simply getting what we wanted, we were forced to shuffle through a process that is opaque, frustrating, broker-centric, and fee-laden.

Due to the impacts of Covid-19 forcing a hybrid working model, the decisions to find real estate space for working is handed down to middle managers. And they often have no experience with finding workspaces.

This was an extremely frustrating experience, to say the least. But that's the "traditional" way of leasing real estate, thus inspiring us to create the world's first Agile Office Space platform. extraSlice makes commercial real estate as simple as Search, Sign, and Work.

why we’ll lead

We built extraSlice from the ground up to be different from the WeWorks of the world. Our platform has three main functions: list, search, and sign. Landlords can easily list their properties using this platform. Tenants can find their ideal location and choose preferred upgrades and maintenance services, such as furniture, infrastructure, branding, and maintenance. Finally, we prepare the space for the tenants and facilitate office management through the term of the contract.

extraSlice is currently operating and generating revenue using partial software.

Our platform is currently under development, and we will be launching our initial beta in March 2022.

We generated an ARR as high as $2.2 million and saw an opportunity to grab a slice of the national market. We designed our new automated, full-service marketplace to serve 80% of the national market.

Despite COVID and the impact on businesses, we continue to survive and grow our business.
