Who can apply?

We are looking for new entrepreneurs and existing businesses who are seeking to raise capital to start or expand their business.

Applicants must be interested in raising between $10,000 - $30,000 for their business during the contest.

Applicants must be interested and able to participate in a rewards-based crowdfunding campaign. Rewards-based campaigns allow startups or existing businesses to provide an item of value in exchange for a capital commitment. For example, if a backer commits $50, the startup may offer a sample of the product or gift card for the service once the business is in operation. If I am Selected to Participate in the Contest, What are My Responsibilities?

Once you have been notified by the contest organizers that you will be participating in the crowdfunding contest, you will be required to participate in a webinar to provide you with tools and tips on how to be effective at getting the word out about your fundraising campaign.

The contest will launch on August 7, 2013.

Contest organizers will begin promoting your company fundraising pages on the contest website. It will be your job to leverage your friends, family and social networks to start raising the funds you need to reach your goal.

The industry standard success fee of 5% will apply for any companies that successfully raise their funding.
