We're developing a website and mobile app that collects and organizes cancer patients / survivors data. This data is shown to users in the form of graphs, maps, charts, etc.
Revenue:
1) Data sold to pharmaceutical companies and research institutes. This is proven to be an effective revenue stream in other ventures.
2) Ads in mobile apps and the website.
3) In-app purchases that unlock additional charts, graphs, maps, etc.
How It Works
The data of thousands of cancer patients and survivors is crowd sourced into our database. It is then processed into subsets of data that can be compared and analyzed with basic organizational tools on our website and in our mobile apps.
Why Buy / How We're Different
Cancer patients, survivors and their families will be the primary users of Cancer Tracker. They will pay for in-app purchases.
Universities, pharmaceutical companies, etc. will pay for the raw, collected data.
Pharmaceutical companies, health product companies, etc. will pay for advertising on Cancer Tracker's web space.
History, Traction, & Why We're Raising
We've been developing the idea for several years. We most recently have engaged with a website and mobile app development agency that is onboard with making this venture a reality. The costs to develop version 1.0 of the website and mobile app platform is $20,000. We're leveraging the fact that Fundable is focused on raising capital for start-ups only. Additionally, we're interested in exchanging equity via Fundable.
