Women-Centered Fitness Studio Franchise

Our franchise helps instructors and those interested in fitness open their own fitnes studios.  Our studios are women-centered and comfortable, with a supportive atmosphere where each of our members feel welcomed and supported.  Our driving goal is to see our members witness results. We provide fun, exciting, cool and hip fitness studios for our members. The array of choices and locations that Brickhouse offers helps our members commit to a workput plan that fits their needs and schedules.

We also provide a franchise-wide support system to assist our franchisees in operating successful studios from start to finish and to help them with every aspect of owning a studio.  We have quickly grown into 20 states and our expansion continues across the country and into Canada.

Why Now?

Adult obesity rates have doubled since 1980, from 15 to 30 percent; meanwhile, childhood obesity rates have more than tripled. If these rates continue on their current trajectories, 44% of Americans will be obese by 2030. These alarming statistics reveal that traditional fitness models are not working.

Traditional gyms are male-oriented with few activities that target and appeal to women. This drives two specific demographics to our studios: women who belong to traditional gyms but only utilize group fitness programs, and women who are too intimidated by traditional gyms and want a more supportive atmosphere.

Team

Vic Sprouse - Founder and Chief Executive Officer

 


Sprouse has a chemistry background and deep roots in entrepreneurial and governmental affairs. He has over ten years of experience in the fitness industry, including affiliation with over 60 fitness centers as franchisor, franchisee and independent owner. Vic operated 13 Curves fitness centers in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He has operated multiple family owned businesses, and served as a West Virginia state delegate, senator, and Senate Minority Leader for 14 years. Mr. Sprouse has also held previous positions at Union Carbide and Dow Chemical and received his education in chemical engineering at Penn State. He also held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Hydro, Inc. - a water treatment company specializing in treatment of industrial water sources.


Misti Janey - Chief Operating Officer

 


Ms. Janey brings more than eight years of sales and operations experience to Brickhouse Cardio Club. After working as a realtor and in various telecommunications sales and marketing positions, she decided to enter the world of fitness and is currently in charge of day-to-day operations of Brickhouse Cardio Clubs owned by the franchisor. Ms. Janey attended Marshall University, where she was a cheerleader and graduated with a business degree from Ohio University.


Marie McDavid - Director of Merchandising

 


Ms. McDavid currently assists in the day-to-day operation of Brickhouse Cardio Club and oversees the merchandising of the brand. As a telecommunications consultant with Frontier Communications, she brings her sales and marketing experience to the Brickhouse team. Ms. McDavid holds a degree in business from West Virginia University.
