This week we highlight CarePredict, makers of the world’s first wearable sensor that tracks seniors’ activities and informs family members of daily changes, allowing them to make critical care decisions and take better care of their elderly loved one.
CarePredict is a revolutionary new technology company dedicated to helping seniors and their children stay informed and up-to-date about their health and well-being. Their first device — the Tempo monitoring and alert system — uses innovative sensor technology to non-invasively track and record seniors’ day-to-day activities. This data is then transmitted to their loved ones and caregivers, allowing them to monitor changes and proactively address health issues and illness.
CarePredict was recently selected as one of 31 teams worldwide to participate in the Nokia Sensing XCHALLENGE by XPRIZE! and was accepted into Startup Health, the premier healthcare accelerator in the US. The team has also received interest from a large national health insurance payer, a partnership request from a national pharmacy chain, and a pilot request from a leading senior living facility, boasting 4,500 beds and 25 locations.
The CarePredict team has completed prototypes of all Tempo devices, including wearable sensors, communications hubs, and monitoring room beacons, and has patents on file in US, Korea, France and Canada.
CarePredict has opened up a pre-order campaign on Fundable for those interested in being the first to own Tempo and is also looking for strategic investors as they move into production.
