1. Tell Your Story. Your network of friends, family, and fans will want to know exactly why you’re launching your campaign, and what you’re hoping to accomplish. Sharing the link to your Fundable profile is a great way for you to succinctly tell your story, and ask others to share it as well.

2. Prepare a Specific Ask. When emailing your friends and family, be sure to specifically ask for whatever it is that would help you most. Whether it’s sharing your page on their own social networks or backing you — let them know exactly how they can help you!

3. Gather Your Email Network. Before the voting period begins September 1st, gather the email addresses of friends and family into one Excel spreadsheet. Spend some time thinking about how you’ll address each audience and what tone would be most appropriate.
