We recycle used commercial aviation parts/assemblies to aid in the life extension of commercial aircraft. All used commercial aviation parts require appropriate paperwork pedigree showing they’ve been repaired or overhauled to FAA approved standards for airworthiness. AMS ensures the part is properly identified with the appropriate documentation and is overhauled or repaired to FAA approved standards and delivered to the Aviation supply chain in a timely fashion.

Key Highlights:

Aviation Mining Solutions exists to solve three problems.

The design and construct of any commercial aircraft requires the use of thousands of parts that are configured into a large number of systems that interact in a dynamic way as the plane is flying.

These numbers are multiplied every time there is a different model or configuration.

Each system requires some knowledge of the design, repair, and overhaul of the components. This requires Aviation Mining Systems to establish a system focus, as well as a close relationship with the component repair facilities.

To that end, Aviation Mining Solutions has specialized in two areas:

AMS has established relationships with repair facilities that are specialists in these areas.

The return to airworthiness process has forced aviation parts suppliers to develop common practices that are auditable. As a result, all of the internal systems at AMS have been approved and certified by the Aviation Suppliers Association with the ASA-100 certification.  AMS has the FAA-0056B classification as well.

The global aircraft aftermarket parts market has been segmented based on parts, application and region. The parts segments of the market are:

An MRO part is used in the maintenance, repair, or overhaul of a part or an assembly.

A classic MRO part could be used in the overhaul of an engine.  All parts that are used in the repair of an aircraft are certified to be airworthy by an FAA approved shop. These parts have either an FAA 8130 (USA and Americas), EASA form (Europe) or a CAAC form (China).
