The Dealer Problem

People who sell cars, both new and used, are all painted with the same brush. More reviled than either lawyers or journalists, car salespeople are routinely cast as scraping the absolute bottom of the salesperson barrel.

This is, in part, because numerous scams about in the industry. Most people have stories about purchasing at least one of their cars, and these stories are usually not very good. It’s no wonder people hate the process of buying a new car.

Social media has just amplified this issue. Now buyers find they have to input their email, phone, and other contacts, just to reach a dealer. This means signing up to have your inbox flooded with spam, your phone flooded with texts and voicemails,  and your feed filled with AI-placed ads for other dealers.

Positive, in the sense that dealers will have no way to reach potential buyers directly, with targeted offers and advertisements. New buyers will have to openly consent to sharing their personal information, and with only authorized dealers who illustrate levels of trust.
