Overture by Arts For A Better World

Our mission at Overture is to provide high quality exhibition space to art galleries during major art weeks.  We created the OVERTURE by Arts For A Better World fair during Art Basel Week in Miami, FL, the most important art exhibition week in the world

What began as an opportunity to be the only interntional art fair to promote social responsibility in 2010 has grown to over 30,000 visitors, major sponsors, and even the unprecedented "100 Warhols Exhibition", one of the most sought after artists in the world.  Over the past three years, we have developed a respectable, unique art fair, attracting collectors from across the globe.

The global art market is estimated at over $60 billion, consists of more than 400,000 galleries and art dealers, and our deep ties to this community gives us broad access to collectors, exhibitors, and companies that contribute to its booming growth. We do not only want to expand on the traditional presentation of art, but also create additional venues that have a positive impact on those who visit.

A Winning Solution for the Art Community

There is a developing trend in the art market towards gallery owners and art dealers deciding to focus more on exhibiting at art fairs rather than maintaining their costly retail spaces.

Now a well established brand and concept, Overture is uniquely positioned to take advantage of this growing trend. It has the potential to replicate the business model in different cities and countries.

Our connections, long experience in the industry in the US and abroad, and previous success hosting major events have provided us with an amazing opportunity to grow Overture and expand beyond the Art Basel Week in Miami.  Our core focus is on working with the highest profile art dealers, galleries and artists, acquiring sponsors and event marketing to engage visitors when they hit the show floor.

Our focus on Corporate Social Responsibility, our special themes (2011 Van Gogh's Dream, 2012 The 100 Warhols unprecedented exhibition) and our VIP Collectors' Dinner (hosted at the Fair) are huge drivers for us. We want to expand on our brand and focus on getting the highest quality dealers and artists to exhibit at our shows across the country and internationally.  While we cater to sponsors, art dealers and artists, we offer sponsors direct interaction with a high net worth profile attendance of art collectors and opinion leaders.

Traction

We have been operating Arts for a Better World for 3 years now and have made a lot of headway into establishing Overture as a respectable and quality art fair during the most important art week in the US (some say in the world). Here's what we have accomplished so far:

  • Over 30,000 visitors
  • 5,000 VIPs at Opening Vernissage
  • 40% retention and repeat exhibitors year over year (and growing)
  • Partnership with a major celebrity, whose foundation will be supported and promoted by Overture.
  • Access to high level celebrities and innovative leaders in art and music
  • Gained the trust of several repeat exhibitors and top level sponsors such as Wells Fargo, Chopard.  See below:

  • Held successful Annual VIP Collectors' Dinner on the exhibition floor for over 160 collectors.  (100% growth each year).
  • Great media coverage and have been widely featured in the press, including a very efficient PR partnership with Julian Lennon.

  • We have definitely built brand equity.  Starting only with independent and mostly young and emerging artists in 2010, we presented, in 2012, for the first time ever in an art fair, an exhibition of 100 Andy Warhol pieces.

Our spectacular 100 Warhols exhibit celebrated Andy Warhol's career. Unprecedented in the history of art fairs, this exhibition co-organised and co-produced by Overture was designed to be an accessible and educational survey of the most important artist of the 20th century.

  • This vast presentation celebrated Andy Warhol’s entire working career and included works in a variety of media, from the artist’s early years to his final paintings, including iconic works and a great many works never before exhibited to the public.

  • We pride ourselves on being the only international art fair that promotes Corporate Social Responsibility, and have successfully benefited the following:
