Artful Gentleman is a designer upstart that makes clothing that matters. Our motto is simple - We are fine clothing for ALL. We’re a bold and fresh perspective in design and clothing where style and personality define the individual.  Our foundation is in the world of bespoke and made-to-measure suiting for men and women. We’ve mastered the hardest part of the fashion industry first.  We have created a sought after brand by producing one-of-a-kind product lines including tailored suiting, separates, shirts and limited runs of accessories.

Artful Gentleman uses the finest fabrics in wool, cotton, cashmere, and silk in its products – These qualities outshine direct online competitors and traditional fashion house brands. Every detail that goes into an Artful Gentleman product is finished by hand. Each item is completely custom, down to button colors and stitching. Our signature can’t be missed – we present products that are timeless, stylish, and unmistakable as the gentleman or gentlewoman who wears them.  

This past year, we have taken our brand from test concept to a flagship in person sales showroom in San Francisco. We have become a repeat darling of The San Francisco Chronicle Style Section, DETAILS Magazine, Inc. Magazine and many other well known publication houses. By mastering both the made-to-measure process as well as running a physical retail operation, we have set a foundation ready for exceptional growth. Our made-to-measure business has been refined over the past several years and is serving as a test bed for limited run ready-to-wear products that will be sold in person, online and for boutique distribution. Our flagship showroom is a model for our “traveling tailor” – an upscale spin on a trunk show – for Artful Gentleman products that will be available in major metro markets for limited times on a routine basis.

Artful Gentleman. is located on the 2nd floor of the McRoskey Mattress Co. off Market and Gough St. in San Francisco. McRoskey Mattress Company is one of the oldest established San Francisco-made products, founded over 100 years ago. Our space is on one of the busiest pedestrian, public transportation, and traffic intersections, and is also on the edge of Hayes Valley neighborhood - one of the hottest areas in the city. As of March 2014 we have begun leveraging our connections through the San Francisco Fashion Incubator network, searching for 2014 retail host partners in NYC, Chicago, and Philadelphia with plans to expand Brick and Mortar to other major metropolitan areas in 2015 through 2018.
