Each kit contains an aluminum 80% frame capable of being completed by the use of a hand jig or traditional machining methods. Recommended Hand Jigs to complete the 80% is the Matrix Jig or the “Phantom Jig” by Stealth Arms. Both Jigs cost under $200.00. All steel parts are finished in Black Phosphate for a richer black color and greater corrosion resistance to oxidants.  The Magazine Tube is nickel plated for look and to be a scratch resistant. The barrel chambered in 45 ACP is chromed for look and extended barrel life. These kits designed for the 45 ACP can be converted to another ammunition caliber with appropriate effort and conversion parts. Kits are unbranded and idea for small gunsmiths, vendors, hobbyists, wholesalers or as a prefabrication solution for manufacturers. Branding and customization to kits and components can be available in quantity.

We are not a licensed firearms manufacturer. We do not produce firearms. We produce parts kits and 80% “receiver blanks”. These blanks do not support a fire control group, barrel or a way to mount a barrel without finishing the blank. These blanks do not constitute as a firearm. These kits do not require a background check, registration or the need of a FFL dealer because of their non-firearm status as basic metal parts. We will ship to all 50 US states. We ask that our customer base be at least 18 years of age and of sound mind with not intent to commit criminal acts. Please check with your local and state laws for potential restrictions.

Does an individual need a license to make a firearm for personal use?

No, a license is not required to make a firearm solely for personal use. However, a license is required to manufacture firearms for sale or distribution.

An individual may generally make a firearm for personal use. However, individuals engaged in the business of manufacturing firearms for sale or distribution must be licensed by ATF. Additionally, there are certain restrictions on the making of firearms subject to the National Firearms Act.
