Stuffed Pepper is a community website for gluten-free living. It is a resource created by gluten-free people, for gluten-free people. It includes recipes, restaurant reviews, product reviews, articles, and a forum to share comments and experiences.

Stuffed Pepper is unique because its content is created by members, and anyone is invited to participate. It also employs games to keep the site fun and interesting, like the very popular Gluten IQ Quiz, which has been a big hit on the site. Talented chefs upload mouth-watering recipes, medical experts on the leading edge of understanding gluten sensitivity contribute health-related articles, and bloggers discuss the gluten-free life. Anyone can become a member, free of charge, and submit their own recipes, add and/or review gluten-free restaurants, review products, participate in games, and interact in the forum.

The gluten-free lifestyle has its challenges, and Stuffed Pepper is here to help. We aim to make the gluten-free lifestyle as easy and enjoyable as possible. Currently all content on the site is free to members, making it a great resource for the gluten-free consumer. In the affiliated marketplace, consumers will be able to purchase videos of cooking lessons, cookbooks, Stuffed Pepper swag, and eventually products direct from gluten-free vendors, where they can also read reviews before purchasing.

Heather Jacobsen discovered she was intolerant to gluten back in 2001. For a decade she navigated a glutinous world, alone. When "gluten-free" suddenly became a buzzword, Heather began to meet others just like her, in the blogosphere, over Twitter, and sometimes even in person. It was a great feeling, knowing that she wasn't alone! This sparked the idea to have a community website for those who follow a gluten-free lifestyle to share their knowledge and experiences with each other, and to help others who are just beginning on the gluten-free path.

Stuffed Pepper launched in October of 2011. We currently have a core group of active members, and we are asking for your help to expand our membership and get this amazing resource out to those who really need it.  We also need help in making the experience easier and more enjoyable for members through more delicious recipes, easier navigation, more games, and a reward system for members' contributions. Specifically, half of the money raised will go to website development to make these things possible. The other half of the money raised will go to marketing and advertising efforts, including travel for expos and conferences.
