CRG’s mission is to provide the Columbus community a fun, safe environment in which to exercise, socialize, and gain new climbing skills. By focusing on these fundamental qualities, the friendly and knowledgeable staff will create an environment that is welcoming to new climbers and experienced climbers!

However, we cannot do this without the support from the Columbus community! The CRG team is funding 75% of the Rock Gym but we need your help to build it sooner and with the quality that Columbus deserves. You might ask what inspired us to start Columbus Rock Gym?

The answer is quite simple, we were tired of driving over an hour to find the nearest indoor climbing facility!

Our hope is to be the first and only rock climbing gym serving the Columbus community, providing a convenient location that still offers the challenges and fun of larger climbing facilities.

Climbing with a purpose! Our biggest goal is to develop Columbus into a huge climbing community. Climbing is a really enjoyable way to exercise, stay healthy, and challenge your mind and body. Each route is like a new puzzle waiting to be solved. Climbing is about technique and planning more than it is pure strength. Plus, with indoor climbing we can offer this ALL YEAR LONG, even through those brutal winter months.

The CRG team has leased out a nearly 6000 sq ft facility in a perfect location just off Central Avenue! We are currently building climbing walls for a variety of ages and skill levels, from first timers to experienced climbers.

Main Climbing Area

Featuring 10 - 15 ft bouldering walls, at a variety of inclinations, with routes set by professional route setters, the ability to top out, a unique climbing cave, and climbing cracks for those wanting to practice technique.

Kids Climbing Area

Featuring 8 - 10 ft vertical climbing walls, with routes specifically designed for beginner level climbers, and isolated from the main climbing area to ensure a fun yet safe climbing environment.

Rock Lounge & Viewing Deck

The perfect area to rest those arms! Kick back, relax, socialize, play some games, enjoy some healthy snacks, plug a laptop in, and drink an espresso in our Rock Lounge. All with a top down view of the main climbing area!

Training Area

The perfect location to practice technique, build finger strength and muscle endurance. Featuring training boards with a variety of hole sizes.
