The system is simple and easy to install, so you can bring it out for the winter to keep pathways clear, then conveniently stow it away for the warmer months. Our mats also function with a wireles snow sensor that activates and deactivates the system based on the weather conditions. If there’s no snow or ice to be eliminated, ClearPath shuts off, reducing energy loss by 60% or more.

Affordability
Unlike conventional heated walkway systems that involve intricate, expensive networks of hot water tubes or electrical circuits that require you to completely tear up your walkways, the ClearPath system simply lies over top of your walkway, significantly reducing the cost of installation.

Safety
Other heated walkway mats fall down on the job when it comes to safety, but ClearPath is built to meet and even exceed all worldwide safety guidelines (UL, CSA, TUV, CSTB and other IEC national variants). Our system has been specifically designed to eliminate gaps between mats and minimize wire exposure to further guard against tripping and falling problems that plague other systems.

Efficiency
ClearPath’s unique design features a polymeric close-celled foam thermal insulator that limits heat loss and saves 21% energy. Additionaly, a wireless snow sensor that automatically shut the system down when there is no snow or sleet, results in further energy savings of 60% or more.

ClearPath snaps together in minutes and can be plugged into a regular 110-volt outlet — no complicated installation or professional electrician needed.

The scientific mind behind the ClearPath technology, Jonathan is recognized among leading inventors and global business leaders as an accomplished innovator, especially in the area of highly energy-efficient, low voltage melting and warming technology.

We’re getting closer and closer to getting ClearPath into stores and onto walkways, stairways and ramps across the United States and Canada. The prototype ClearPath system is already built, and we’re in the process of making final tweaks to the design based on feedback we’ve received on that prototype.

Our goal is to have the first units of ClearPath in customers’ hands in time for the upcoming winter weather, and now you can help us make that goal a reality!

With this fundraise, we need to raise $120,000 to help us complete our final development steps and create tools that will allow us to manufacture ClearPath at volume.

USE OF FUNDS

STRETCH GOALS 

$120,000 is our official goal amount, but if we can stretch our fundraise even farther, we can speed up delivery on a couple of exciting product enhancements we have in the pipeline:

If we reach $300,000, we can speed up our product development, and offer a new turn module enhancement to the ClearPath system in 2014 rather than Summer 2015.

If we reach $500,000, we can add LED lights to our landing mats, stairstep mats and walkway modules to add even more visibility and safety to the ClearPath system.
